Director Lisa Foster Says:
'I have been around bikes since I was about 6 years old. I have always had a passion for them and the sport. 7 years ago, I was approached by a young female racer (Jodie Chalk) to help her to promote herself. I was delighted to take on the challenge and enjoyed every minute of it. Following on from that in subsequent years I have sponsored Michael Robertson (Thundersport GP1 Champion), Paul Wishart, Scott ‘Splinty’ Campbell, Andrew Tasker (2xTimes Scottish Superbike Champion) and one of the fastest female racers in Scotland Sammi Tasker.
In 2015, I decided to start my own race team (CV Racing) and have enjoyed running and promoting the team. Also enjoy the many achievements that we have had in the last 3 years along with some fantastic people that we've met along the way.
This year I decided (and it seemed like the next logical step) that it was time to take the next step and sponsor a race class too. I chose the ‘Golden Era Supersport/Steelsport' for various reasons. But in the main because it is an amazing class of riders and the action on track is always good. My race team also races in the class so it made sense to support ALL the other riders as well as my own.
I am very much looking forward to the 2018 season and not only seeing how well all the riders do but also doing what I can to promote the class and ThundersportGB as a whole as it is an amazing organisation that offers so much to all who race within it'
